Hey guys, I found this cool site thanks to a pregnant friend at work. I thought it'd be a great thing to start; so everybody can read and keep up with me instead of me trying to share all my wonderful news all the time. Jason and I found out we're expecting our first baby and I'm due July 24th, 2009. We found out on November 10th, after a very faint positive home pregnancy test. I told my Aunt's and Granny that day and we told Jason's family about a week later. It was a huge shocker at first, but we're anxiously awaiting the baby now. Most people have been wonderful and such great supporters. I couldn't ask for a better famly! I really want a girl and Jason REALLY wants a boy. Healthy and full term and I'll be completely satisfied.
I've decided to have an all natural birth (hopefully). We'll deliver at Stormont Vail and I have the best OB in the world - Dr. Gleason.
I got to see the JellyBean via ultrasound on Dec. 5th, and it was SO adorable. The heartbeat (HB) was a great 154 beats per minute (BPM). They let me hear it for a while, and it was amazing. I had my next appointment on 12.17 and I got to hear the HB via Doppler. It was high 170's. After that I found bellybeats.com and rented my own doppler to use at home. It is amazing. On 12.24 it was 181BPM, 12.27= 174BPM and tonight it was 174 BPM. I try not to find the HB everynight, but I'm so addicted to the sound of it, I just can't stop listening to it.
I've had a minimal amount of morning sickness. Normally if I get it, it hits me at night. About 3 times actually. I've been a little emotional lately, poor Jason... And acne is awful! I hate it. There is nothing I can do to make my face look better - but this too shall pass! Otherwise I feel just wonderful!
Anyway - hopefully everybody can keep up with my blog and follow my 9 months of pregnancy! I'll post belly pictures as soon as I'm a little more confident! =)
